Frequently asked questions
What speeds can I choose?
0.5x (half speed, great for slow-motion replays), 0.75x, 1.25x, 1.5x and 2x (double speed — perfect for tutorials and long explanations). The output stays the same resolution; only the pace changes.
Does my video leave my device?
Never. The speed change (a WebAssembly build of FFmpeg, loaded unmodified from a CDN) runs entirely on your device. Your file is processed locally and is never uploaded to any server.
Is changing video speed really free? Any watermark?
Yes — 100% free with no signup and no watermark, and there are no limits on how many videos you process (files up to 500 MB are supported). Your video downloads straight to your device, ready to post.
Will voices sound chipmunky at 2x?
No. The audio goes through a pitch-correction filter (atempo), so voices stay natural at every speed — they just talk faster or slower. That’s the same approach professional editors use.
Does a faster video mean a smaller file?
Yes — a 2x video has half the duration, so the file is roughly half the size. Slowing down to 0.5x doubles the duration and roughly doubles the size. Keep the 500 MB limit in mind for 0.5x on long clips.
Which video formats can I upload?
MP4, WebM, MOV, MKV and most common video formats work. Files up to 500 MB are supported.
