Frequently asked questions
Which logo formats work?
PNG with transparency looks best, but JPG and WebP work too. The logo is scaled to your chosen width with its aspect ratio kept, and its transparency is preserved.
Can I control the watermark position and opacity?
Yes — place it in any of the four corners with a 20 px margin, pick a width from 60 to 800 px, and set opacity from 10% to 100%.
Will this re-encode my video?
Yes — overlaying a logo changes the picture, so the video is re-encoded (H.264, high quality). The original audio is copied untouched.
Does my video leave my device?
Never. The watermarking runs entirely on your device using a WebAssembly build of FFmpeg, loaded unmodified from a CDN. Your files are never uploaded to any server.
Is it really free? Any watermark on the output?
Yes — 100% free with no signup. The only watermark on the result is yours; we add nothing. Files up to 500 MB are supported.
Can I remove a watermark from a video instead?
Removing someone else’s watermark usually means removing their ownership mark — we don’t offer that. If it’s your own logo on your own video, re-export from the original project file.
